At Veda Milk we respect your right to control your personal information. You can request deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to make that request, what data is removed, and how long the process takes.
How to Request Deletion
Option 1 — In the app
If account deletion is available in your version of the Veda Milk app, open the app and go to Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account, then follow the on-screen confirmation steps.
Option 2 — By email
Send an email to info@vedamilk.com from the email address or with the registered mobile phone number on your account, using the subject line “Delete My Account & Data”. To help us verify your request, please include the registered mobile number used to sign in. We may contact you to confirm your identity before processing the request.
What Gets Deleted
Once your request is verified, we delete or anonymise the personal data linked to your account, including:
- Your name, phone number, email address, and profile photo.
- Saved delivery addresses and location information.
- Order, subscription, and delivery history tied to your profile.
- Push notification tokens and device identifiers.
- Referral data associated with your account.
What May Be Retained
We may retain a limited set of records where we are legally required to do so or where we have a legitimate need, for example:
- Invoices and transaction records required for tax, accounting, and statutory compliance.
- Information needed to detect or prevent fraud, or to resolve disputes.
Such records are retained only for as long as required by law and are then securely deleted or anonymised.
Processing Time
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days. Data shared with analytics and advertising partners (such as Meta and Google) is handled in accordance with their respective data policies; you can also manage ad personalisation through your device and account settings with those providers.
